Every child loves a swing set in their backyard. They can range in size from a simple metal swing set to a huge fort with slides, periscopes and a rock wall. My son still loves to get in his fort with his dog and his friends. There he can see the whole neighborhood and pretend and play.
The added bonus is the kids get plenty of exercise, needed sunshine and mom gets them out of the house for some needed peace and quiet.
Summertime is a great time to get the swing set your child dreams of. Some sets are more complicated than others, but we put ours up in just an afternoon and it will last through our son and on through the grand kids.
